The unseen covid-19 risk for unvaccinated people

Featured Replies

The rosy national figures showing declining case numbers led the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to loosen mask recommendations two weeks ago and President Biden to advise people to take off their masks and smile.

But adjustments for vaccinations show the rate among susceptible, unvaccinated people is 73 percent higher than the standard figures being publicized.

Sure.

But 73 % higher of a nothing... is still nothing. ????

I rephrase : if you are younger than 65 years old and without health issues... then the "Covid risk" is... close to zero.

I'm talking about real "Covid risk" (it means a bad Covid).

Of course, you can "catch" Covid... Yes, you can have a nice PCR test, flashing like a christmas tree...

But you will be -likely- "asymptomatic".

That's the way it works all around the world.

That's the core of the issue.

For the very large majority of people, in the world, there IS NO COVID RISK (a real one).

Therefore, the real strategy is to protect the fragile and the old... with vaccines. And let all the other people live their life.

We have now several vaccines. And in large quantity. We should use them for the people who need them.

There is no need anymore for any "lockdown", or "social distancing".

The vaccines ARE EFFICIENT (aka they reduce the REAL RISK, aka death).

So it's over !

But death isn't the only consequence of a Covid-19 infection.
