TAT Governor Mr. Yuthasak Supasorn said, “This MOU forms part of the TAT’s ongoing commitment to drive the Thai tourism industry towards safe and sustainable travel in line with Thailand’s Bio-Circular-Green or BCG Economic Model and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals or SDGs. This is under the goal of making tourism part of Thailand’s commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by no less than 50 million tons of carbon dioxide equivalents.”

A lots of fancy words there...

burning sugar cane and crops for all the non existent tourists is going to work these people are idiots

+ on every corner a chicken broiling stand clouds the road in blue smoke.  Every wat burns its rubbish without hindrance.  Every Somchai imitates this.  Every road has its share of unserviced diesel-burning pick-ups invisible to every cigarette  smoking cop

More nonsense from these jokers. Everyday they just keep piling it on.

Time to make TAT redundent and start a brand new GOE. WOFTAM, IMHO.

Clowns the lot of em.

I very much doubt Tourists contribute to the problem in any substantial way but hey, just add carbon tax to the VAT, Bed, entry, exit and whatever other Tax already in place.  Problem solved.
