webfact
Picture: INN INN reported on the arrest of three young men including two youths for racing on the public roads. Tittipong, 23, thought it was a good idea to post their escapades on Sukhumvit Road in Pattaya on June 26th on Tik Tok. He was subsequently arrested along with A and B, the youths. They were all pictured pointing at their bikes that were seized by the police, lest there be any doubt. A one month jail term was handed down to Tittipong suspended for a year. He was fined 6,100 baht after being charged with eight offences. This was halved to 3,050 baht on admission. The youths were referred to the youth and family court and their parents are also being prosecuted for not looking after them properly. The deputy commander of the RTP Damrongsak Kittipraphat who heads a taskforce to rid Thai roads of the street racing menace told people not to do it and parents to look after their youngsters. He also reminded that information from the public that results in a successful prosecution can get you a 3,000 baht reward. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2021-07-09 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow ASEAN NOW on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates 1
Popular Post OneMoreFarang
Wow, racing bikes? Is any of those bikes faster than 120km/h - going down on a mountain road? Will anybody who drove as fast as those boys be jailed? Or only poor boys? 2
