New ASEAN forum and emojis issue

Not sure if this is the right thread, but maybe someone can help.

I use the Chrome browser on my Android phone to access this forum. Since the change from TV , the emoji icons I select from my keyboard no longer appear on my messages at all - I think they are probably not recognized as they used to before , or blocked...

Then I click the emoji icon of the forum text editor, doing that basically freezes the screen and the Chrome hangs completely, I'm guessing it tries to download the images from somewhere, but can't or is very slow...(my 4G or WiFi both behave the same when I tried , I get a good 10Mbps or 20Mbps at minimum...).

I prefer if my keyboard emoji's could work again like before, but failing that at least the text editor one should work....!

try again =  ????

an off shore library problem...

but hey during the experiment I just now found out that

typing either of the following would be treated equally

":)" = "(:"

  - guess that is to please the TransDexturous   ":)"

I'm guessing those who still can post emojis use apps, correct...?

No, I'm using Windows - just drag an emoji gif file onto your post (where it says "Drag files here to attach..." _giggle.gif.717e7c1e4823639bafd5caa4d260eead.gif ) and click on the + sign.
