Oxx Posted July 31, 2021 Share Posted July 31, 2021 ANW is the only investment trust (closed ended fund) listed on the London Stock Exchange investing exclusively in Thailand. It's done pretty well over the years, and has avoided investing in the most blatantly corrupt companies in Thailand. Unfortunately, it's now going to merge with another investment trust (AEMC), and the resultant merged trust is going to invest solely in China. Had thought about it in the past but never got round to pulling the trigger. Smacks of opportunism as, if you specifically wanted China, presumably you wouldn't have invested in either..........
