MikeyIdea
I got pulled out there in October 91. No life guard or net back then. Very scary experience. The current goes south to north and the riptide pulls you out at the north end of the beach. The trick is to first swim straight south a little bit to get out of the riptide and the toward the beach at a 45 degree angle. Scary! 1
Popular Post Pattaya Spotter
Don't fight the rip (or else you will be RIP) and let it take you offshore a ways and then swim parallel to the shore (either direction) and the current will actually bring you back in (or you can swim to shore with the current). Swim and play where the waves are breaking and not where it appears calm as that's where the rip is located. 4
