Thailand, Switzerland discuss post COVID-19 economic recovery

 

 

BANGKOK (NNT) - Prime Minister and Defense Minister, Gen. Prayut Chan-o-cha, has had a meeting with Vice President and Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, Ignazio Cassis, in which they placed an emphasis on cooperation in public health, trade and investment.

Thai Bankers’ Association introduces two-month debt moratorium for customers in dark-red zone areas

 

 

Commercial banks in Thailand have introduced a two-month debt moratorium for all customers in 29 provinces that are currently in a partial lockdown state, the Thai Bankers’ Association President announced yesterday, August 2nd.

Boxer Sudaporn guarantees 2nd Olympic medal for Thailand

 

 

3 August 2021: Sudaporn Seesondee became the first Thai female boxer to secure an Olympic medal after she narrowly ousted 2018 Youth Olympics gold medalist, Caroline Dubois of Great Britain, 3-2 in the women’s 60kg quarter-finals at the Kokugikan Arena on Tuesday.

GPO to Increase Favipiravir Production

 

 

BANGKOK, Aug 3 (TNA) – The Government Pharmaceutical Organization plans to produce more than 40 million tablets of favipiravir per month from October onwards.
