Police in the Don Muang area of Bangkok responded last week after Air Asia reported that many items of electrical equipment had gone missing following a stock take.

CCTV was checked and technician Preecha Inthachai, 27, was observed putting an item in a bag.

He was arrested and questioned then a search of his home in Ram Inthra uncovered five computer notebooks, five laptops, 4 portable hard disks and around 30 other items of equipment, reported Daily News

He had been stealing the equipment since the beginning of July then selling it on Facebook.

He was charged with stealing at an airport or receiving stolen goods and is now in the custody of the Don Muang police.

What’s the difference?

Notebooks are smaller, but similar to laptops.

I wonder if they checked his car, maybe fitted with some unusual instrumentation?
