Mobile Phone Options In Los

Featured Replies

Hey guys, just after a bit of info, i have been living in thailand over the past 2 years, i am back in Australia at the moment on a short visit, but when i get back to Thailand i want to invest in a PDA type phone, or one that i can use for my Email, Messenger, SMS, Browsing etc, i seem to spend alot of time in internet`cafe's checking emails, so i thought it would be alot easier if i had a PDA and did it all from there, and also part of the reason is when i head back ill be living in a village in issan for a while with no nearby Net cafe's, has anybody got any ideas on what is available being a farang? Do they have phone contracts similar to Australia? Is there some sort prepaid package i can buy incluing GPRS data, SMS, Emails etc? any info will be mcuh appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

All very simple, just buy a One 2 Call prepaid sim card (Bt 300 including some free airtime)

then request GPRS/EDGE access (tel 1175). Various GPRS packages available

e.g. 3,000 minutes per month for Bt 214/month.

Other suppliers, DTAC, Hutch etc. may be better depending on your location, just ask around when you get there.

Naka.
