Pattaya – Pattaya City is currently using a rescue foundation as a one-stop service center with Antigen Test Kits (ATK) for Covid -19 testing.

First, a video version of this story can be seen here:

Pattaya City Mayor Sonthaya Khunploem has launched the ‘Pattaya Mai Ting Gun’ or ‘No One Will Be Left Behind’ project to find as many confirmed Covid-19 cases as possible in the local community. There are in total 2,000 people chosen from high-risk places in markets and local densely packed communities who are being tested with Antigen Test Kits (ATK) over the last two days.

Mr. Sonthaya told The Pattaya News team, “Yesterday (August 10th) and today (August 11th) from 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. we have used the parking area at the Sawang Boriboon Rescue Foundation in Naklua for Covid -19 testing.”

“This area will be used as a one-stop service area for the test but is not for people who walk-in. Those being tested were pre-selected from high-risk communities and places with lots of exposure to the general public and many people. Social distancing rules and Covid-19 measures are also being taken at the testing location.”

The foundation is a convenient place, with lots of parking. The wife and I have gone there a few times to make donations for those that cannot afford coffins and final services. They have an easy payment window on the main floor, where you can buy someone a nice box, then pray for them at the Chinese temple upstairs. I can imagine there must be quite a demand lately.

With the continued lack of vaccines, he's renaming it 'No one will be left.'

Why test, test , test, without vaccinate at the same time?  Wondering...
