Bear in mind, these numbers don't show the local transmissions which for me is the most important measure, they are the total of local, requesting to come back and arrivals from other areas.

Yes this is true.

I cannot find any other numbers in the mist

Mum was buried yesterday, she died with Covid after contracting it in the nursing home she was in on the 1st of August, not a bad innings at 85. But I sure wish they would hurry up with those vaccines the USA sent over here as I'm getting a little anxious.....

The 3 provinces listed are Southern Isarn.

Did I mention the 3 provinces the article said or did I say the North of Issan, read it how you want. Udon is still growing cases, few are vaccinated there.  Try and look outside of the box.

A total of 394,073 people have had three jabs.

The total today reported as 414,066. Got to wonder how many more frontline health workers are still to receive their third jab it being with AZ and is Pfizer to be their fourth jab?

The report starts off with how many have had jabs then deviates to the worst hit cases by province, why don't they tell us the jabs given in each province

That info is available on the Thai Health Services LINE account.

Try searching "covid-19 vaccination info graphic" MOPH - Immunization center (IC).

Your lost I am afraid.  The article shows 3 southern Issan provinces as you stated, I never mentioned them, I said the North as if to expand on their limited view.  All of the north has expanding cases.  Enjoy your evening.

1 jab is no good and the 2nd jab has to be given within a certain time frame which worries me that i wont receive my second jab by the date and time i was given if that happens is the jab deemed useless ?????

Actually it seems that it may often be better to give the second doses a bit later than the standard recommended time - at least with some of the vaccines.

One study found that giving the 2nd AZ dose up to a year later, led to higher antibody levels than the current recommendation of 12 weeks. And even that is an increase from the original gap of 4 weeks. In the UK, they initially increased the time between doses just so they could give more people their first dose quicker. Then they found via testing that this gave higher antibody levels so they stuck with it.

A similar effect was found with the Pfizer vaccine.

And how many of those vaccinated are foreigners outside Bangkok, Phuket and Chang Mai! e.g Isaan!!!!!!

Or in Bangkok, but under 60?

I'm just waiting for the TAT or another entity to invite me to 'travel in Thailand', so that I can tell them: "Sorry, but I 'cannot get vaccinated', so why should I take the risk of travelling around in Thailand?"

My colleague's aunt, just got Covid. It scared the c**p out of the family members for about a day. Non of them are vaccinated. They got tested and were all clear. The aunt is currently in a very very bad way on a ventilator in some Gov't hospital. It doesn't seem to have dissuaded any of them. They are all sitting around doing sweet fanny adams and drinking at 11am in the morning and socialising as if they dodged a bullet. No masks, no a care in the world. Half of them overweight and diabetic. You can't fix stupid.

We all got our first jab (sino) on Wednesday but my wife's parents refused because they are scared of dying, so there you go, apparently old people who don't get vaccinated live forever.

A fully vaccinated person can still catch and spread the virus, the main difference is the vaccinated person should avoid serious illness and hospitalisation.

Also it looks like some vaccines are not able to deal with certain variants.

But why fully vaccinated need still get 100k $ insurance when come to LOS!? Even New Zealand going to open country for vaccinated people whitout quarantine (next year).

I hadn't heard that phrase, so I searched on "Sweet Fanny Adams". What a horrible story. ????

Yes a real shocker, as an Aussie I and others use sweet F A, that of course had a far different meaning, although if asked by you mum what does Sweet FA mean, you would of course say Sweet Fanny Adams ????

Is there a site that lists cases by Province (every one ) .

Yes there is. NNT has a Facebook account where they list daily, the new infections, broken down into regions and provinces.

https://www.facebook.com/nbtworld/photos

Each province should also have their own account where give a more comprehensive breakdown. I only know the Sakon Nakhon one. (you'll find that here) What is revealing on that site is that the great majority of infections have been imported from the 'other provinces'. (my wife's translation) There have been very few local transmissions.

A bet the testing capacity in the rural areas is great....shall we multiple the known positives by 10?

No testing in rural Salon Nakhon unless you jump through hoops.

Our child got a test in Udon Thani Hospital.

under five million have had two jabs, worse than i expected tbh. they really need to up their game. they might as well be realistic and write off this years high season. very sad for the many who whould like to visit/return to thailand.

Even sadder for the people lying in filthy field hospitals and dying because of the lack of vaccines.

One shot is better than none.... and of course 2 is better. "The full study published on Wednesday found that one dose of Pfizer's shot was 36% effective, and one dose of AstraZeneca's vaccine was around 30% effective." effectiveness of pfizer and astra zenica, one and two shots Reuters site
