Hello!

Some of my expat friends have no idea how to refill Interactive Brokers acc, as I assume - it has to be done via wire transfer to US. What bank is better to use and what docs necessary for that. Thank you in advance for your answers…

I registered my IB account with my Canadian docs so I can just do an online transfer from my bank

With wiretransfers you go to your IB deposit page, send a request /confirmation of the deposit amount and they send you the information for IB's bank to wire the money too.

You need to use the information and wire it to IB, then they will update your account. They're quite fast, within a few hours I had my money wired into my IB account.

Yes it is so simple and quick one wonders why some friends or at least one of them cannot check on IB website or call IB in any location/time zone.

Lol, you're maybe not familiar with subject at all or pretend you're not familiar.

It's forbidden to send wires to foreign brokers out of Thai banks, according to regulations.

Yes I am familiar as I have had an IB account for more than 10 years. My comment is not about transferring from a Thai bank as nowhere in this thread does it mention this. As far as Thai regulations are concerned there is another recent thread on transferring money out of Thailand and maybe that would be useful to you.
