All aboard the vaccine bus! Jabs coming to houses of Bangkok residents

BMA spokesman Pongsakorn Kwanmuang went on his personal Facebook page to report on the latest innovation to ensure everyone in Bangkok gets a quick and easy jab of Covid-19 vaccine, reported Naew Na.

 

Meet the BKK Mobile Vaccination Unit or BMV for short. 

 

From the outside it looks like a normal blue city bus. But inside are medical staff, blood pressure and temperature devices, fridges for vaccine, even a bed or two plus an AED (Automated External Defibrillator). 

 

It's just like a hospital on wheels.

 

The BMV will go to communities and help people who can't get to vaccine centers.

 

The Bangkok Metropolitan Authority hit on the idea after looking at similar schemes in China and Vietnam. 

 

The service is slated to start in the Thai capital next week.

Just one thing... how do they keep people for 30 minutes after the jab to check for side effects, and practice social distancing? ????????????????

These syringes are so popular that you have to bring them home for free just to get anyone else to voluntarily give themselves this liquid, which has not been tested for long-term damage.

Isn't it 15 minutes? (mine was). And they don't have to be inside the bus for that. They could put out a few chairs. The only people inside would be the staff and the person getting the jab. This seems like a great idea all around.
