Do local reporters fear local stories?

Featured Replies

Fabulous Pattaya Media Group has reported a number of times that bars in Bangla Road in Phuket are ignoring COVID restrictions and are open for business.

The Thaiger and the Phuket News are based in Phuket but have done no reports on open bars.

Is  Fabulous Pattaya Media Group wrong on the bars being open or is it that the local news in Phuket don't want to <deleted> off the locals by shinning the light on something that is suppose to be a secret?

With the recent story of the police in Naakhon Sawan I can't believe that local new reports were not aware of the police getting rich prior to the death of a person. Maybe it was well known but just could not get proof?

Anyone thats been in Thailand for any length of time is under no illusion as to how things work here.......'Nuff said !

It does seem like they are afraid to report all details, as one side possible  defamation,  the other side, well you see some bad apples everywhere!

Been an investigative reporter , and digging too deep into

all the things that go on in this country, would not be a healthy

life, it would be great if there were programs like Panorama and

40 minutes here. they would be kept busy....

The companies that you mention and a couple of others employ farangs, they could have problems with their work permits and visa's
