snoop1130
BANGKOK (NNT) - The Ministry of Public Health has received medical supplies donated by government agencies and private firms in China and India to help Thailand fight the COVID-19 pandemic. This equipment will be distributed to COVID-19 treatment facilities across the country. Deputy Permanent Secretary of Public Health, Dr Narong Saiwong today accompanied officials from the Ministry of Public Health to receive medical supplies donated by Chinese private firms to support Thailand’s response to COVID-19. The donated supplies include 400 hand-operated thermometers, 400 sets of personal protective equipment, and 40,000 medical masks. Dr Narong expressed his gratitude for the help from the Chinese private sector, saying the donated supplies are greatly beneficial in the treatment of COVID-19 patients. He said the supplies will be sent to Bussarakham Field Hospital for COVID-19 patients, according to the wishes of the donor, as well as other healthcare facilities in the country. In another event, Deputy Minister of Public Health Satit Pitutacha has led MOPH officials to receive 300 oxygen concentrators donated by the Indian government, via the Ambassador of India to Thailand, Suchitra Durai. Mr Satit has expressed his appreciation of the long-lasting relations between the governments of Thailand and India. 100 of the donated oxygen concentrators have been delivered to Bussarakham Field Hospital for COVID-19 patients, while the other 200 will be distributed to COVID-19 treatment facilities under the supervision of the Department of Medical Services, including partner service units and isolation centers in Bangkok and neighboring provinces. -- © Copyright NNT 2021-09-10 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow ASEAN NOW on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates

Looks like India has given something very useful that will be really helpful to the sick, the Chinese not so much!!! Good to see the CCP still get top billing in the press release though can't be seen to upset the overlords... Aussieroaming
I would have thought that the Indian Government would need to hang onto every piece of medical kit that it could russle up. A couple of months ago India couldn't treat its own people due to lack of equipment. I hope that their generosity ( thank you India) is repaid if they get another round of infections. As for China, thanks for Covid 19, the world appreciates your donation but next time kept it at home will you. Thailand has received a lot of donations recently, clearly highlighting that the government financial coffers lack the wealth and prosperity that Thailand has spent recent years trying to convince the world that it has. Thailand you are charity basket case but your begging skills are a key strength.
Popular Post Nanaplaza666
All of this could have come out of mr A's pocket easely with the wealth he has . These donations of vaccines and whatever make Thailand look like a 3rd world country but actually it isn't ,there is enough money here but devided in a very wrong way because of the corruption and stupidity in wich this country is run . It's only a 3rd world country because of the way it's run , not because lack of wealth .
