geovalin Posted September 19, 2021 Share Posted September 19, 2021 A joint police team, comprising of a task force from Cambodian police and officials from the Ministry of Public Security of the People’s Republic of China, seconded by Beijing, raided a large gated compound in Sen Sok, Phnom Penh on Friday, September 17. In the raid, close to 200 people, comprising Chinese, Vietnamese, and other nationals were detained. A huge amount of equipment synonymous with online gaming, phishing, online dating and scamming, crypto currency mining and fake Bitcoin trading were seized along with substantial amounts of cash. Running a new province has costs & responsibilities involved compared to a subject kingdom that bows to your whim. Look up the definition of "hegemony".
