The State Railway of Thailand launched special train services yesterday for anyone, especially fans of K-pop idol Lalisa “Lisa” Manoban, wanting to celebrate the meatball festival in the north-eastern province of Buri Ram. The services will run until September 24th.

SRT Governor Nirut Maneebhandu said that there are seven trains leaving every day from Bangkok, Nakhon Ratchasima and Ubon Ratchathani for Buri Ram during the week-long festival.

From Bangkok, the No 135 special train, with four air conditioned cars, leaves the Bang Sue grand station at 6.40am and arrives in Buri Ram at 2.19pm.

And Buriram, no thanks.

My Mrs says   Buriram is closed  due to covid  so whats with the train?

Hope people start to open their eyes on how corruption and nepotism works. Buriram again. The home province of the Chidchob family. First the airport, now the train they most get desporite.

Yesterday the rubbish out of Hua Hin about the Hong Kongers' arriving in droves. Today  SRT clutching at straws or should that be clutching at balls. Either way also painful to read.

Some of the passengers on China's rural railways are literally pigs | SoraNews24 -Japan News-

I can't openly have a beer sitting 2 metres away from the next customer  in my local for fear of catching Covid, but they can pack a train & transport it.

Someone must have some pull
