BANGKOK (NNT) - Krungthai Bank has opened new and convenient international money transfer and payment services using QR code between Thailand and Singapore. Customers of participating banks in both countries can now make cross-border payments faster with just a QR code scan.

PHUKET: Nine teams of medical staff under the newly formed Phuket Comprehensive COVID-19 Response Team (Phuket CCR) began their intensive screening of communities across Phuket today (Sept 21) with the goal of testing 25,000 people within three days.

Bangkok’s schools may reopen in November, pending the speed of the vaccination rollout in schools, said Bangkok Governor Aswin Kwanmuang today (Tuesday), while students with underlying diseases will be the first to get inoculated, mainly with Pfizer vaccine.

‘Samui Plus’ receives 11,000+ room nights booked up until 10 December

Bangkok, 21 September, 2021 – The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) would like to report that since the launch of the Samui Plus programme to fully vaccinated international travellers with no need to quarantine on 15 July, 2021, the number of arrivals to Samui through to 20 September totalled 786, resulting in 9,823 room nights and 58.90 million Baht in revenue.
