I've heard from fairly reliable sources that the Thai Embassy in Phnom Penh, Camodia is being strict nowadays (May 31st, 2007). I've heard a few folks, with cash and without, have been asked to make their visit to Thailand their last.

SCARY! I've got an apartment and some business prospects there. I also go to school there and I have relations as well. There's so much to Thailand! I even used the international hospitals there, so I always want to go back.

Can anyone shed some light on Phnom Penh right now? I'm going there tomorrow looking for a Thai Tourist Visa for 60 days. I had one before from December-February (I extended an extra 30 days). I've been on 30-day stamps ever since.

I am fairly presentable, have a young professional attitude, but my PASSPORT has a BUNCH of Cambodian visas and stamps from Malaysia, Laos, etc. since April 2006.

Can you help me! Thanks! What do I have to worry about?

The local visa service could not handle my simple Thai Tourist Visa request: they said the Embassy will ask me questions. What questions? What are they looking for?

What is the criteria for giving someone a "And Don't Come Back" stamp? Thank you all Thai Visa!

And any help relocating to PP will be very reassuring! I may need a place to hang-out in SE Asia!

That is not exactly anything new. Other than Rangoon they are probably the worst choice for a visa issue anywhere in the region. As to who will get what do not believe anyone can give you an answer without consulting a crystal ball.

I believe the criteria is if you're not Cambodian. The consulate in PP has basically decided they are only there to service Cambodians, not other foreigners.

PP has long been notorious as the absolute worst place to go for any type of visa, as Lopburi pointed out.
