Popular Post snoop1130 Posted September 22, 2021 Popular Post Share Posted September 22, 2021 The Thai Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has rejected Sinopharm’s request to provide Covid-19 vaccination injections in children over 3 years old due to insufficient data on the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine. Dr. Paisan Dankhum, the Deputy Secretary-General of the FDA, revealed today, September 21st, that the FDA committee and experts from many agencies had jointly considered the safety and efficacy of the Sinopharm Covid-19 vaccine last Friday after Biogenie Tech Co., Ltd., an authorized distributor of Sinopharm in Thailand, has requested permission to extend the legitimate age group for Sinopharm use to children over 3 years old in early September. They mutually agreed to turn down the company’s request due to insufficient data on the safety and effectiveness of the vaccine in the prevention of disease in the age group of 3-17 years old. Yes basically, according to this group of doctors "lab rats" Stop giving Sinopharm to under-18s, doctors’ group saysA doctors’ group urged agencies to hold off from giving the Sinopharm vaccine against Covid-19 to children, as it has not yet gained emergency approval for people under 18 from the Thai Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Opposition MPs also voiced concern.“Children are not lab rats,” the Health Personnel Association (ภาคีบุคลากรสาธารณสุข) wrote on its Facebook page Monday, saying it “objects to the research that looks to provide Sinopharm to children.” The statement recommended Pfizer instead for children.The Chulabhorn Royal Academy (CRA) this week started to give Sinopharm shots to 2,000 students age 10-17 as part of their latest trial with a target of 108,000 students.
