Don’t fret, its just more drinking buddies coming out the wood work.

with no though to the people who could be knee deep in the Do Do.

This thread would have died down if all his mates had left it alone.

It’s great, keep it coming.

yes my friend had a bit of misfortune when he was locked up and had to pay 300k baht, I have a lot of sympathy, I have no sympathy for the person that was selling him an illegal sevice that was guarteed 100% to be OK

you are taking this topic way off base, lets try and keep it on track, if you want to post about alcholics ,silly old men, prostitution. viagra, jungle people, shagging your daughter, inlaws, whiskey etc etc....START YOUR OWN THREAD

BTW you may also consider a few sessions with a therapist, I think you have issues. :o

Your friend(s) broke the law as well and they deserve locking up just as much as the shop owner does, ignorance in not acceptable as a plea of innocence in a court of law, to even suggest that they really thought that they could obtain a visa without leaving the country and it would be legitimate is ridiculous, either you and your friends are stupid or you assume that every one else here is stupid to believe this is the case.

I do not know the man, however from what I see from most of the other posters when he offered this service he was very clear that its was not legitimate, if your friends then went ahead with it there is only one answer I am afraid... somnomna..

I find it very suspicious that there are so many who are willing to condemn based on bad reporting by some very bad newspapers, newspapers that couldn't even get his name right in the first instance by all accounts.

Be honest if you have never broken a single law whilst in Thailand raise your left hand.

Immigration Seize British Man With Fake Passport

On 30th May officers from the Pattaya Immigration Department detained British national, Mr. Sean Henry Tinsley, aged 38, when he was found in possession of a fake visa.

It started when Mr. Tinsley came into the Pattaya Immigration Office to ask for an extension on his visa.

While his case was pending on approval; the officials found the stamp on his visa from Phuket Immigration to be suspicious looking so investigated further and found that it was a fake stamp.

The stamp he faked was old from a long time ago and copied on to the visa page.

Mr. Tinsley has now been transferred to the Pattaya Police Station to be charged and further proceedings are ongoing.

Forgive me if what I'm about to write has been noticed earlier. I'm puzzled by the reference to Phuket Immigration and the stamp that was allegedly issued there. Now what stamp would that have been and why Phuket? A re-entry permit, an extension stamp, an overstay stamp or what? I doubt any of these, as they're inexpensive enough to stay on the right side of the law. It couldn't have been a Visa. The newspaper headline refers to a "Fake Passport", the topic header refers to "fake stamps" yet the body of the report refers to a "fake visa".

Please, please, I don't want to get into any further discussion about the moral, ethical or pharisaical issues around Sean and his business(es). He "knows" the locally based British Honorary Consul, he has contacts within overseas Thai missions, he has (or had) "friends" working in Immigration and he has enough business acumen (and I'm not talking about business ethics) to survive in what he does.

So, to fuel the speculation pot, what's it all about really? I still think that there's a great deal more to this story that remains undisclosed.

I will have a look tomorrow when i go past there. I wont be going in though, but i shall look to see if buisness is running as usual, and also look to see if i can see the man himself behind all the stickers covering the windows and door.

I took a trip past the Visa Shop yesterday, and it looked like buisness was as usual, the shop was definately open. I did not go inside - no thanks, and i could not see through the dark tinted windows covered with stickers, but it was open.

Wow Pattaya Girl.....breaking the news boundaries aren't we? Your post tell us absolutely sweet FA....and there's sweet FA to tell really. If anyone wants to know what the truth is then go inside and ask Sean instead of taking sneaky looks at the outside of his shop.

Certainly better than your 'invisible' information which you have posted. I find the information quite important actually, that hes back in business, Lets hope he still isnt offering fake visa's!!! Since when was it against the law to glance at someones shop on your way past? I am sure Pattaya girl didnt go all the way over there just to 'take sneaky looks at the outside of his shop'.... :o

Edit: Ohh.. sorry.. Just been to look at you're other posts and notice you're one of Seans 'Friends' .. I wont say anymore.. :D

What i dont understand is how all these people are ready to condem any law breaker apart from themselves .They go out to bars paying for sex which is against the law here but thats okay because it is them that are doing it.So it is like the alcohlic calling the smack head who in turn calls the wizz head in turn he will call the coke head who then calls the crack head who calls the weed head. you seem to be willing to get at anybody that makes a mistake. As far as the same old rantings about visas Well how many declare that they want a visa so they can pay young girls for sex ? Yes to enter the kingdom to break the law. There are many out there that only see that because they are old old old men that can get visa retirement so they can walk around looking like a total idiot with a girl 3 times younger & actually think that the girl loves them .I surgest that all these self rightous pricks take a good look at what they do before condeming anybody else for what they do.

Just a suggestion from an "old old old" guy. Consider repeating your seventh grade English Composition class.

Does this make me a self rightous (sic) prick?

I have better things to do with my time than entering that place - i swore i would not step foot in the place again after he offered me the illegal visa a few years back.

i did not sneakily go past, i am not hiding from anyone, just dont want to bother with people like that. If your so keen to know, then you go, unless you have already been mr artisan!!!

I merely glanced as i drove past the place, basicaly to see if the place is still open, so i think my information is better than none dont you? Its better than nothing at all.

Yeah, Certainly alot better than Artisans.. His is invisible and he has the nerve to come on here putting you down just because you glanced when you drove past the shop.. :o:D

Hes admitted in other posts that Sean is his friend, Thats probably the reason for his 'clever' reply.. Im sure his reply wouldn't be so clever if Sean had supplied him with a dodgy Visa/stamp, claiming that its legal :D

I fail to se the problem, if the people that claim to be close friends with the alleged visa scammer, really are that close friends, why dont they take a chat with the man, and then enlighten us all with truth of the matter, rather than keep bashing people that think illegal aktivities is wrong, and give their first hand account of their experinces with the man.

Kind regards :o

Mr. Rosner knew a very nice family man for many years. He helped Mr. Rosner secure contracts with the University where he was director of facilities. He had 8 children, a young wife, 3 children by another wife.

He paid his former wife with his NYC policeman's pension - he kept the money from his present job.

He was a preacher and Mr. Rosner liked him very much.

Mr. Rosner's friend was also a crook.

Over a ten year period Mr. Rosner's friend stole almost a million dollars from his employer.

However, Mr. Rosner still contends that his friend is a nice man, but also a crook.

To the old git that seems to think that i do not have a very high english edducation .You are correct {what a clever old old old git you are, give yourself a pat on the back for that one,but don't address the issue of sexual law breakers slagging of some man {who i have never met} For having a try at worming around the visa rules.Instead of ducking the issue try addessing it or just accept that you are not so clean yourself .Personally i don't have any problem with what vises people have as long as it is consentual & not involve children .The law of the land is the law of the land whever it be right or wrong .What this guy has done {if anything}is not going to make the sky fall in on anybody is it .Lets just get real & accept that there are not many saints here or anywhere & as long as the sun shines there will be petty law breakers.Robin hood is a hero This guy could of been Pattayas answer to robin Hood if he had been successful {who knows]

I've known Sean pretty well for over 5 years now and he's a very nice guy, I haven't seen him during whats been going on but i wish him the best. whether he was doing dodgy stuff or not i don't know or care.

:o

I with you on this one Dave.

Sean has been a good friend to me over the 6 years that I have known him and by that I dont mean he has ever done anything ileagle for me. No Im not one of his so-called drinking mates either.

At the present time Im not in Thailand but with all of this S-hit being said about him he wasnt on this forum to defend himself and has never been a member of this forum.

So I have just called him from overseas he is in his office and he tells me that all of this was caused by a miss understanding.

So to all of the members who have been flaming him on this forum just let it stop.
