Popular Post webfact
Picture: Talk News Online Talk News Online reported from Hua Hin after the latest changes in quarantine for foreign visitors and dates for reopening were announced by Dr Taweesin Visanuyothin. These will see southern Thai islands and other mainland areas open through October subject to reduced quarantine. From November 1st ten provinces (mostly parts of them) will be added to the reopening list that will encompass Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Pattaya, Cha-Am and Hua Hin, Loey and Buriram. Krabi and Phangnga provinces will be completely reopened. Chief of the Hua Hin Recharge reopening plan, Karot Rojanasathien was upbeat about Hua Hin having foreign tourists again. He said that 86.36 sq kms of two areas will be opened and that 70% of the people in downtown Hua Hin and Nong Kae had been vaccinated. There were now 31 SHA+ facilities available. He thought that 1,000 rooms in these facilities would be enough for the expected influx of foreigners. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2021-09-30 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow ASEAN NOW on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates

pj123
The report refers to SHA+ not ASQ hotels. So maybe this will be the Hua Hin Sandbox? 1

I suspect it will be more than enough, supply will be far greater than demand, even at a mere 1000 rooms.

MrJ2U
Many people traveling domestically, especially Thais avoid the Sha hotels for fear of catching COVID-19. Sometimes to the detriment of the hotel. Its unsettling to stay in a hotel that has a portion cordened off to isolate certain guests.
