Phetchaburi's provincial police and local Cha-Am officers arrested a 40 year old online fraudster called Sitthipathi Khwanbua yesterday.

He was named in a warrant after a complaint that someone had been conned out of 1,439,500 baht.

Sitthipathi is alleged to have used the picture and profile of a palace secretary in order to gain confidence of victims in an online fraud, reported Talk News Online

There are thought to be other victims still to come forward.

The suspect was also named in a fake document case in Pak Chong.

There must a special place in hell for those on-line fraudsters whom in my opinion are the lowest of the low soul-less vermin of society...

' Pol Maj. Gen. Uthai revealed that earlier, on June 19, 64, Mr. Sitthiphattik claimed to use his name. "Secretary of the palace" via Line application, ready to use real person photos from the internet as a profile to deceive the victims who are residents of Cha-am district '
