In an online poll, readers of the famed travel reference 'Rough Guides' voted Cambodia as the 'world's friendliest country.'

Cambodia was the clear victor in the survey, according to Rough Guides: 'Cambodia was by far the top answer in our poll, and a popular pick among staff members and Rough Guides Twitter followers alike.' "They've been through so much and still have a grin on their cheeks!" exclaimed @AndreaLeber.

 

The top ten friendliest countries in the world, according to Rough Guide:
