Cambodia’s QR Code System “StopCovid QR Vaccine” will be launched from October 18 onwards

Pursuant to the recommendations and approval of Prime Minister Hun Sen, the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, in collaboration with the Technical Working Group of the Commission for Covid-19 Vaccination in the Nationwide Framework and the International Sub-Committee, the inter-ministerial Ministry of Covid-19, including the Ministry of Economy and Finance, the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Justice and the Phnom Penh Capital Administration, has developed a QR Code “StopCovid QR Vaccine” system.

 

The QR Code “Stop Covid” to the Vaccine Database will be ready for use from October 18, 2021 onwards. The QR Code system “StopCovid QR Vaccine” has three main functions: (1) Facilitate the search for people involved in Covid-19 disease, (2) Manage contractions of the virus.

 

In addition, the system will help prevent the spread of Covid-19 by reducing the direct impact of immunization card inspections without having to carry the immunization license at all times or worrying about card loss or damage.
