This si very commendable, however many virologists around the world warning that once 6 months past since the last injection the so called fully vaxed are not really 100% protected from getting the Covid all over again, a booster shot however might make a different...

And then another, then another just like Israel.

Why do people spout nonsense and every time bring up Israel as if to make their case any more truthfull.

Israel had an outbreak because only 60% are vaccinated ad outbreak was in un vaccinated. Most in serious condition were unvaxed.

Israel decided to do a booster and it had a positive affect, as those getting the the 3rd booster were elderly.

In addition more people got vaccinated bringing total to 61.9% and now Astra has also been approved and to be given to those with medical condition and unable to receive mRNA vaccine

You were never really 100% protected anyway. That is why herd immunity is likely not able to be reached however, cases and deaths will still go down significantly.

%97.7 of adults in Waterford Ireland are fully vaccinated, and yet cases of Covid are exploding; the highest in the country. Singapore (85% of adults), Israel (80%), Mongolia (80%) and many other intensely vaccinated countries are suffering from outbreaks.  Do you think Thailand can escape that fate?

How are deaths?

It still won't be enough without some form of social distancing, mask wearing, etc.  You just have to look at what is rapidly developing in UK, and now other countries in Europe to realize that. Well done, though. Another 20% to go before full reopening is advisable, and then start on booster jabs for older people, and national cases may be kept down to 50k or so, and 250 deaths per day.

Enough for what? What is your goal?

Don’t worry we can just keep getting booster shots every week for the rest of our lives, until somebody finally figures it all out????

It's a proven fact that worldwide, 82.842089% of reported statistics are made up on the spot.

Seriously, does anyone truly know how many people are living/visiting/hiding out in Bangkok?

So true. What is the truth about all this?

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Easy to figure out.  Start by banning all visitors from the country that gave the world COVID-19.

Maybe with enough social distancing, masks and jabs no one will ever die again. Just wondering how all of that is working for Sweden….

North Korean mathematics again; not at 9.30pm or 9.45pm but  ......... "As of 10pm on Oct 18, 8,132,826 people received their first COVID-19 vaccine jab, forming 105.63% of the Bangkok population".

1) fantastic time keeping with a stop watch at 10pm sharp
2) wondering who did the head count
3) the 105.63% - call Kim Jong-un

Of course this is another round of blowing their own HUGE trumpet. Bangkok would not function with at least 50% of all those inhabitants registered in Northeastern or Northern Thailand.

But yeah, the TM30 and the 90-days-show-your-face-to-the-uniformed-clowns-at-immigration does NOT apply to the Somchais and Somsaks - result is utter nonsense in the newspaper.

Keep up the good work!

The number of deaths is usually a function of quality of treatment. For example, in Mongolia, the number of deaths is on the rise, while the number of cases is declining. In Israel, it’s the reverse.

All in all, despite the mass hysteria, Covid is not particularly lethal in relative terms. Take Thailand: since the inception of the pandemic, 18,486 people have lost their lives to the disease, while around 825,000 died all together. Put differently, Covid has contributed around %2.2 to the country's overall mortality.

In the USA only 60% fully vaccinated. Large gathering of people without mask for the last eight weeks in football stadiums and shoulder to shoulder and they seem to make out pretty damn good they must know something we don’t know

Yep and with around 80,000 new cases and 1,500 deaths daily it's going pretty well isn't it.

That might need some explaining.

Easy, So many people is moving to Bangkok for work/studies and live here but they are still registered in their home town. It's so complicated to change address so they simply don't. My GF is one of them, She lives in Buriram on the paper even tho she own our house here in BKK. Her best friend Lives in Chachoengsao on paper but live in a condo in the center of Bangkok
