alexi333
Hi, i own for 10 years a non-immigrant visa O (thai spouse), every year i extend it at immigration office and every 90 days i have to report my address. Now i plan to go to Europe for 2 weeks for holidays. Is it true that Thai immigration could ask me a covid insurance ? How much this insurance must cover me minimum please ? Could you advice me a good one unexpensive ? Thanks in advance !
internationalism
there is requirement to have covid insurance for minimum $50k for thailandpass. You need cover to the end of your extension, so up to a year. The last premium was 15k/year, but covered was $100k. Probably shortly they should lower this premium. For shorter 1.5k - 2.5k per month (depending from what country you are entering). That one also covers $100k and suppose to be adjusted shortly. Myself I will need for one year, as my extension is now being done. I am cancelling now my health insurance and I will get one for 5mln with 300k deductible. Premium for my age 28k. It will work cheaper than buying now 15k covid.
