Samui / Phan Ghan During Monsoon?

Featured Replies

hi,

I am thinkink about going to Phan ghan for 8 weeks from half oktober to half december

to do a thai boxing course.

but what is the wearther like during this period? is it only rain 24/7?

if so it could end up beeing a bit demoralising.

has anyone been to the islands during the monsoon?

thanks

Marc

i have been there for 3 monsoon seasons and all of them have been different. first one was rainy half the time, sunny half the time. second one (year before last) was nightmarishly bad- heavy rain almost all day every day. last year was barely rainy at all. no way to predict around here.
