Can someone quickly tell me what time you can collect your passport from the embassy looking at a 13.40 flight back thanks

Can't recall time off the top of my head but there's no way you can pick the passport up and get to KL airport for that flight. My guess is the earliest flight, allowing for check in + travel time {assuming using high speed train} to airport would be @ 1730 on.

11.30 am when I was there last month. Lots of people going straight to the airport.........

2hours 10 minutes assuming he gets his passport at 11:30 dead. Very tight and I would say very risky especially if flying AirAsia - LCCT therefore no high speed rail link.

It's a while since I did this but if memory serves, you can apply in the morning up to 12:00 and collect after 13:00. If I've recalled correctly then you'd be pushing it to guarantee getting in under the wire. I can't find an Embassy website so I can't check the position today, so hopefully someone who has done the deed more recently can clarify in case the schedules have changed.

Must admit I always used to go the day before go down around 10 after breakfast, and pick up the next afternoon, flying back the following day. No headaches and no rush.

I've got two nights there originally I was going to go straight to the hotel and then to the embassy the following morning, but I think it's straight there from the airport now and just relax for the second night

, thanks to all for the quick replies, I tried to phone the embassy to get confirmation but no reply then again I would rather trust your information than the embassies, fell for it too many times.

Thanks again.

I just came back from KL yesterday.

You Pick-Up your passport from 11:30-12:30.

It takes one hour Minimum to get to airport.

I had a cab wait for me while I picked-up my passport.. then direct to KL Sentral.

Ate something, then AirAsia Bus to Airport (9 RM)..

Arrived at 2pm, just in time to check in for my 4:10 flight home.

Back in Bangkok by 5:15... In my room by 6:30.

Hope this helps.
