Whats open in CR city?

I think he may have meant the "Chill" you will have better luck on google with that input.

Just go on your bike through the Yed Yod area and look for bars with people sitting outside with a beerbottle.

Good question ???? I haven't ben to the mountains way way north since last early dry season. I'd like to read form those in the know. A wonderful part of the world to wander about it.

Yes, some bars are open in the Jet Yod area, mostly the survivors.  Many Thai bars are open too especially if they serve food. Many places have gone out of business, however, and many close early.

From the clock tower go down a bit to the first corner on your left hand side and you will an open bar one "spot" in. A very nice friendly place AND they serve Kilkenny and Guiness. Unless they get word through the grapevine, they will be serving.

 

Got transportation?

 

There is an excellent Mediterranean restaurant named La Ola. (google)  They also happen to serve Kilkenny. Not a "cheap" place, but well worth the money.
