The 15 refugees are among the around 300 who are scheduled to arrive in the Kingdom in stages. The government has formed an ad-hoc working group tasked with receiving the Afghan people to stay here temporarily.

The arrival of the Afghanistan refugees is handled by Ministry of Interior Secretary of State Sok Phal and Immigration Department director general General Kirth Chantharith.
