As i see it, and it is my view and opinion it is because of a lack of testing and what we call weekend numbers. You can see this play out weekly in the above graph posted by @Bkk Brian. Same with the ATK tests. As far as the totals still in the hospitals or being treated we still have a long way to go. Lets hope a new variant does not arrive and we do not see what the west is seeing as far as cases because of the winter. We knowthat the winter is when we normally would see cases for viruses, not just Covid, rise. Deaths for those also rise. With mask wearing and social distancing this has kept some of those numbers down to the lowest they have been, but they are still with us and NO Covid has not made the flu and other viruses dissapear like the Alt left and others will have you believe. Anecdotally, on another forum folks are trying to pass off the numbers in the hospital because of Covid are 90% vaccinated. What they fail to see is that the majority have underlying medical conditions and they are being treated for those and not Covid. Stay safe folks, and Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours. Life is good and I have much to be thankful for. like my health and having been vaccinated.

edwinchester
"He made clear, however, that the Public Health Ministry will not negotiate refunds with the Private Hospital Association." Proof if it were ever required that the 'no refund policy' for the Moderna bookings is turning into a money grab and he has no intention of upsetting his mates running the private hospitals. *Thai PBS contributed to this report 1
