Last time I was able to find it but now google is just showing agency websites Planning to go in March so not sure if it's been left too late... theoldgit
The UKVI do supply a generic list of documents required, though this is pretty general. The applicant must satisfy the decision maker that they are a planning a genuine visit, the visit is affordable and that, on the balance of probabilities, they have sufficient ties to their home country to indicate they will leave the UK at the conclusion of their visit. It really depends on what you want to do in the UK, but financial evidence is most certainly required and ties to the home country. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/visitor-visa-guide-to-supporting-documents/guide-to-supporting-documents-visiting-the-uk https://www.gov.uk/standard-visitor https://visa.vfsglobal.com/tha/en/gbr/apply-visa Whilst an agent isn't really neccessary, some people do find the use of an agent comforting, though they should be chosen with caution as there are a number of cowboys out there, is there a particular reason you don't want to use one?
hotandsticky
The UKVI service is appalling at the moment. They work to a 15 working day decision process - and in most previous cases my wife's application was approved within 10 working days. A friend has been waiting 25 working days for an application submitted on 15th October......................the family had hoped to travel at the start of December. With a 13 week processing time declared by UKPA this is not a good time for those of us in Thailand wanting visas or British passports.
