EVENKEEL
So I'm collecting my SSA benefits as well as a benefit for my daughter till age 18. On my death the minor is eligible for 75% of my benefits till age 18 or 22 if fulltime student. My question is will the kid's benefit continue as well as part of mine? Will she get both? I'm searching for info but thought I'd ask here as well.

I emailed PI for some answers. Figured maybe someone on this forum had the answer.

OK, straight from FBU Manilla. Upon your death, her current auxiliary child's benefits will be change to surviving child's benefits. If there is only 1 (one) surviving child upon your death, her benefit rate is 75% of your primary insured amount.
