Convicted Premchai Suffers Many Illnesses

I posted this yesterday:

I remember a VIP being sentenced to prison a few years ago. He spent a few hours there before 'falling ill' and being transferred to a fancy hospital suite. Then, as usual, the media lost interest and I don't know how long he was there.

And, as sure as night follows day.......

Unless a different VIP , this reminds me of Kamnan Poh.

Common sense isn't an illness.

Don't rich Thais just pay someone who looks vaguely like them to serve their prison sentence?

Plan B I expect.

As we speak there will be minions scurrying around looking for fat ugly bastards with debts which need settling!

And so it begins. Barely 24 hours in and already preparing for his departure. There are many people in prison who are in considerably worse condition, but we don't hear about them. Fatty here is the sick boy on the block, must take good care of him.

Be a man Fatty. You did the crime, now do the time.

Of course this is all been scripted. When you have gullible people even on Thai Visa Forum @josephbloggs who were adament yesterday that this was the end and he was to late to get out of it.

He should have eaten his veggies instead of panther soup. No sympathy from me, none whatsoever.

Thanks for mentioning me.  I was replying to people saying he has his plane waiting and will be escorted to the airport to flee the country.  I said that can't happen and it hasn't - if they were going to let him off it would have happened before trial or alternatively the Supreme Court could have overturned the lower court.  They didn't.

None of that has changed.  He is trying to weasel himself in to a hospital, he is not being allowed to flee the country.

Isn't it ironic how this "man" - in his serious condition and basically with one foot in the grave - was nevertheless perfectly able to embark on random camping trips in the jungle?

One could be forgiven for thinking it was all for show. Just sayin' ????

I'm now convinced that in many places, not just Thailand, it's never too late to get out. Simply a question of how many cogs to grease before the doors open smoothly.

The doctor found yesterday that Premchai had many chronic diseases including hypertension and fatty liver and he had just undergone cataract surgery, Mr. Ayut said.

Time to call in Jimmy Swaggart.

His biggest problem is bad acting. Fatty liver and hypertension. That shouldn't stop him serving his jail sentence. Nor should cataract surgery. He is a chancer. If he is released due to ill health, then so should all the other peasants serving time, with real ill health problems be released.????

I've had all three for many years but I just get on with things.

Mild medication over 20+ years and a scheduled cataract procedure in the new year will see me good to go. (Pun intended).
