Can anyone recommend a sim card with an English number here in Thailand that can receive a one time pass code (otp) from the nationwide building society to enable me to log into my internet banking. That's all o need it for not sure how much it would cost to keep it active. -

This article is bull*hit! The retirement visa rules haven't changed one iota since 2023. Yes, there is a high wealth visa available, but renewing a retirement visa remains the same as ever. If they ever did make it impossible for the middle class to live here, they would crash their economy. Of course, I put nothing stupid past this government. Who wrote this article anyway? Does Thai Visa vet the accuracy of such things? I think not. -

Maybe because the only changes you're required to report are the address and 3-4 boxes with checkmarks, not the phone. They have never called me in 15 years or the others I help out. I could put anything in the phone field and it wouldn't matter. I wager you could forget to write it in (I may have a time or two) and it wouldn't make any difference. Anyway, just having fun here, nothing to get lathered up over.
