drronnie
Years ago I had serious bouts of anxiety and was in really bad shape the doctor at PraRam 9 hospital prescribed me Xanax. Since I am back in this situation I wonder if there are other treatments or meds I could get over the counter
Neeranam
Yes, you can but better to go to the local psychiatric hospital and get proper Dr iagnosis and pay a fraction of t hi evprice, and if course legal.
Sheryl
Xanax etc are highly addictive and should not be used regularly. Medications that may be prescribed for anxiety include venlafaxine, escitalopram, occasionally beta blockers etc. While these can be bought over the counter it is very inadvisable to slef treat. All medications have significant side effects and contraindications, and there is also a risk of triggering depression or manic episodes in some people. Anxiety disorders are bets managed by a combination of medication and therapy. See https://aseannow.com/topic/90910-mental-health-resource-list/. In Bangkok, these places are especially recommended: https://www.psiadmin.com/ https://ncsbkk.com/ncs/index.php/counseling/about/ In terms of prescribing medication this is an excellent, US-trained psychiatrist who takes time to listen and is very sincere: https://www.bumrungrad.com/en/doctors/Suttiporn-Janenawasin
