December 22, 20214 yr BANGKOK, Dec 22 (TNA) – Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha is pleased with the BBB+ rating for Thailand by Fitch Ratings, according to government spokesman Thanakorn Wangboonkongchana. Mr. Thanakorn said that the prime minister acknowledged the rating announced by Fitch on Dec 20. The maintained BBB+/Stable sovereign rating for Thailand reflected confidence in the monetary and financial policies of the government, he said. December 23, 20214 yr Popular Post BBB is the fourth on a list of eleven ratings (excluding plus and minus levels) and is the lowest of the investment grade ratings. The other seven are non-investment grades.
December 23, 20214 yr So proud. I believe BB is junk. So, 1-2 pegs above what the markets commonly understand as junk. Junk isn't always bad but when the yield sucks like most sovereign debt it is. Edited December 23, 20214 yr by TheScience
