tension22
We are building on a slope, so important to understand where the 6m starts from. Is it measured from the lowest point or the highest point of ground? Then to where, the top of the roof I guess? Thanks

JayBird
This might be something you have to check with the local authorities: mayor, land office, etc. It could very well be a regulation that differs from area to area. If indeed there is such a regulation. I have not heard of such a regulation as a nation wide standard.

The only national standard practice for this country is obfuscation and confusion.

You should check with your O.B.T or tesanan which are the bodies issuing the building permits.

It's measured to the highest point on the roof from the 0-base; which in principle can be a general raised flattened land, but presumably not working if you raise the land under the building only...???? Wombo1
In our land area (outskirts of Bangkok) the limit is 12 meters, our architects said this is the limit for our local area. (They needed to get the local building rules to see this)
