The US is not an "old" country ... it's the new world. It's a melting pot, so there is no ethnicity. So ancestry / ethnicity of the US national teams is not as prominent as with teams from the old world. It's not about "racism". It's just not the same thing being in a country and rooting for a team where everyone shares the same ancestry. There's a common "bond" with fellow ancestors that doesn't exist with just sharing the same passport as someone. I was following a European team where my ancestors are from. That's very different. There's an ancestral connection. Regarding Jude Bellingham, people from Jamaica should be celebrating as much as anyone from England. Because a half-Jamaican boy has become one of the top players in FIFA. So Jamaicans should be proud. The Bob Marley of FIFA. Be proud, Jamaica. Both can celebrate. English fans and people from Jamaica, who will never have their own team. It's the way it is now. Except the France team seems a bit over the top, with only 1 white French non-African player. Seems a bit silly to me.
