Statesboro Blues refers to Statesboro, Georgia, and was recorded on October 17, '28 and released in January '29, by Blind Willie McTell.

Sweet Home Chicago recorded on November 23, '36 in Room 414 of the Gunter Hotel in San Antonio, Texas, and released in August '37 by Robert Johnson.

Peter Rowan was lead singer and guitarist for Seatrain in the early 70's.  Creepin' Midnight was a sweet number off of their '70 Seatrain album.

Seatrain was also well known for their outstanding rendition of the classic bluegrass number, Orange Blossom Special, written by Ervin T. Rouse in '38.
