Public Health Min Issues Guideline for Schools In Case of Covid Infections

BANGKOK (NNT) - The Ministry of Public Health has advised schools to follow Covid-19 prevention guidelines for on-site classes and stated that they will not issue a school closure order unless there is a risk of Covid clusters.

Private sector in North calls for resumption of Test & Go entry pathway for tourists

BANGKOK (NNT) - Businesses in the Northern Region are calling on the government to resume the Test & Go entry scheme for international visitors to provide tourism and hospitality businesses in the North with much-needed revenue before the current high season ends.

Thailand’s civil aviation authority insists 5G does not interfere with aircraft signals

The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) has explained that 5G emissions do not affect aviation and confirmed that the signals are on a different wavelength. The CAAT also pointed out that they have been monitoring the issue closely since last year.

Not a lot of croc: crocodile meat is edible when it’s cooked well

Food vendors and consumers have been hard hit by the escalating prices of chicken, eggs, and pork in particular, the latter has doubled in price since last year. It’s a situation that calls for some innovative ideas, and owners of crocodile farms have risen to the occasion by promoting the reptile’s meat as a cheaper alternative.

Thai virologist suggests there is no rush to get fourth vaccine dose

Head of the Centre of Excellence in Clinical Virology at the Faculty of Medicine of Chulalongkorn University Dr. Yong Poovorawan has advised against rushing to get a fourth vaccine shot, claiming it would be a waste.

WADA to Lift Ban on Thailand in February

State of Emergency Extended, Orange Zones Cut to 44

BANGKOK, Jan 20 (TNA) – The Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration agreed with the extension of the state of emergency for two months and reduced the number of COVID-19 control provinces to 44 from Jan 24 onwards.
