Virtualrecluse
I'm interested in getting a UK postal address aka virtual mailbox that can forward mail if necessary. Any advice?
CharlieH
Google is your friend. There are many services, really depends on how many pieces of mail per month you expect. You can go for fixed fee, or pay as you go. The latter is fine but becareful as costs can mount quickly. More info you give the better the responses. Excel
Used these for a long time now. Excellent service, well suits my needs anyway. UK Postbox - The UK's Online Post Office
The Hammer2021
This is very useful information. BTW Regarding the UK mail redirection service. I believe it is no longer limited to two years

I believe it is no longer limited to two years You are correct, this is from their T&C's "The maximum Redirection term is four years, including any extensions. This is reduced to 6 months for a Redirection where the old address is a PO Box" royal-mail-redirection-consumer-and-special-circumstances-terms-conditions_april-2021.pdf
stratocaster
I have just received a form from a financial institute in the UK, and where it says permanent UK address it states (PO Box numbers and mail forwarding company addresses not accepted). Use a mail "handling" company that just uses your name and street address rather than one that just offers PO Box numbers and or their company or C/O address . I am even on the voters role and all my mail including financial goes through my UK "MyUKPost" address. You pay a bit more of course for the individual service.
