Hello,

I currently have an oppertunity to do some web based work for a UK company. I have talked to the company and asked if location was important. The have told me that as long as I can deliver on time. Location is not important. All meetings will by via tele or video conference. I will be paid a UK salary into a UK account.

So the question is what type of visa do I need to do this work in Thailand? Or do I need one?

Any help or advice will be appricated. :o

There is no visa category that allows work of this type. Work permits are required for work. So you basically have two choices. One would be to set up a legal entity with the help of legal firm and the other is to turn off the computer when you have company. Choice two may not be viable for the long haul as visa status is presently a concern and being tightened.
