illiterate
I think it’s incumbent on them to rally fellow Thais and get them to end all of this madness with Covid. Nobody is going to come here unless there are zero restrictions upon entry. Zero.
ChaiyaTH
Many Thais I know that studied have an education debt of average 500K baht and only get to earn 3K more, while repaying cost them 3K already for like 20 years (due to high interest rates). Many are then thrown out and get informal jobs by age 35-40 (still in debt). Meanwhile I see informal jobs with a bit of English skill and no degree getting paid 15-20K. Almost never get fired (if you are not doing something really stupid) and salary increase 2 times/year. Reason almost all parents in Isaan area want they kids try to study to be officers. Doubt that will remain as solid as it is now, in the next 1-2 decades. But yeah, it is seems to be the perfect foundation while also doing business on the side. Just the fact you can get mortgage and loans easier changes a lot, if using it properly. Edited February 18, 2022 by ChaiyaTH
FritsSikkink
Like said before, let her contact the local Labor office for help. She shouldn't accept this offer.
