snoop1130
The Ang Thong provincial administration held a creative road accident reduction campaign yesterday (Monday), to encourage motorists to respect pedestrians’ right of way on zebra crossings, with a Khon mask dance performance on the Po Phraya-Tha Rua Road in the Muang district. Students from the Bunditpatanasilpa Institute staged a Khon mask dance performance, featuring an episode from the Ramayana epic, on a zebra crossing in front of the college. The campaign, instructed to all provincial administrations, is set to be relaunched on the 21st of every month, following the high-profile death of ‘Doctor Kratai’, an eye doctor at Chulalongkorn University who was struck and killed on January 21 by a large motorcycle as she was crossing Bangkok’s Phaya Thai Road on a zebra crossing. Gottfrid
Darn! Looking at the picture, that will really send the message of the importance of slowing down at zebra crossings.

swm59nj
I’m sure the students did an excellent performance. And gave them an opportunity to demonstrate their skills. But unfortunately this will accomplish nothing.
