He was quite well know as a stand  up comedian and MMA fighter bust people now know him as a result of his pod cast which have millions of listeners. Rogan retired from competition at 21,after he started suffering from frequent headaches and feared worse injuries. He has worked as a martial arts instructor and as a private investigator. He has never fought in MMA but was a successful Taekwondo and full contact Kick a boxing competitor when he was younger.
