Sounds to me like more of a witch hunt in order to cast more dispersions upon an already beaten down man who refuses to quit.  One day he may end up being like Suthep and then what will this Government do.  He has already become a Martyr and this Government as much as they try and destroy him and his family keep rising up and have become a thorn in the sides of Prayut and his goons.

.....and they're doing everything within their corrupted powers to keep him out of the loop and these particular circles of influence. He keeps coming back. The surface martyred figure developed naturally just by their year long restrictive actions.

One would have cause to extend some sort of admiration to Khun Thanathorn, who is covertly still pulling the strings within the Progressive Movement/Move Forward Party.

In the Bangkok Post story on this, the Juangroongruangkit family were issued the deeds in 1978, but the land was not converted to a forest reserve until 1984.

So after 44 Years some authorities come and dispute the land ownership. And then laws are passed afterwards that subsequently lead to the loss of land ownership? Politically motivated state expropriation. Investors beware.

It was in 1978. 6 years before the 1984 forestry department took it over and changed the rules.

AH! 1984, that explans everything. Ain't that right,  George.

It certainly benefits to be associated with the club.

It doesn't pay to be popular with the masses.

I  see this as the second [first] of many attempts to blacken his name.

That's true but I wonder how many in this current government and their Elite supporters have similarly obtained land by similar methods ? Mind you in this case 211,100 Rai is a substantial chunk of property to have taken from them.

They bought the land in 1978, it was declared a forest reserve in 1984. Where is the illegality?

Any minute now Wissanu will be along and explain the legality of the illegality.

"We filed for it to become state land in 1977, it just took awhile, but they new the land was forbidden to own, it just took us until now to catch up with the thieving family" he said as Prayut and Prawit looked smugly on and wondered when they would get their cut......
