Photo by VnExpress/Huu Khoa Around 400 health workers in HCMC resigned in the first quarter, citing "unsuitable environment" and "low income". Le Thien Quynh Nhu, deputy office head of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health, on Monday said employees of hospitals and other public health entities quit every year. Among the reasons given were long commutes, low incomes and unsuitable environment, she added. "The Covid-19 pandemic has caused hospitals' and other health facilities' income to drop, so it's inevitable that health workers are quitting," she said.
