Motorcyclist killed on Bang Na - Trat road

Police were called to the Bang Na - Trat local road yesterday afternoon after reports that a motorcyclist had been killed at KM 8.

 

A woman - named as Monthakan - was riding a Honda PCX when it appears she hit the back of a parked truck.

 

This propelled her into the path of the 132 bus bound for On Nut, reported 77kaoded. (warning: Thai source contains graphic images)

 

It was a stark reminder that for some serious accidents a helmet will not save the rider.
